Pauly Pirate

Hey!

Here's a card I created for one of my nephew's birthdays. I used an image from Digi Doodle Studios and created a boat steering wheel shaped card.

The image is called "Pauly Pirate" and I colored him with Promarkers. I created this card shape for my Silhouette Cameo and cut it out of a piece of kraft cardstock. I added walnut stain distress ink along the edges of the card. I found a lovely little treasure map on the internet and sized it to fit the card. I had a neutral pirate background paper and used a stitched circle die to cut it. I have a Provo Craft pirate die cutting set in my stash for ages and found it perfect for this card. Love the skull and sword. I had a ship anchor and a little coin from bracelets that also were perfect to finish the card. Hope my nephew likes it as much as I do.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Hugs,
Kitty

Buster St. Bernard Christmas Puppy

Hey!

Here's a Christmas card I'd like to share with you. I created a folded Christmas tree with a star that hangs in the middle. On top of the star I added one of the gorgeous Christmas Puppy images from Digi Doodle Studios

This puppy image is called "Buster St. Bernard Stocking" and I colored him with Promarkers, Faber-Castell Polychromos and I created fur for trim of the stocking and the hat with Neon Amplify ink and a heat tool. This card is simple to make and so fun to have it standing between the Christmas decorations. The card is created by folding a piece of dark green cardstok and draw half a Christmas tree along the fold line and cut it out. Create two small slits in the middle branch to hold the star. The star can be created with a die or a template. I used golden stickers to finish the tree and adhered the image to the middle of the star with foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

I created a Christmas gift tag using an image by Leann's World 101 called "Kandi Kane". The image is colored with Promarkers. I created this tag with a piece of scrap green cardstock. I had some lovely green dotted dp that went well with it and I used white stamping ink along the edges. I used some lovely punch out images. I added red and green ribbon to the hole and added 2 silver jingle bells with some sewing thread.

Snowman Soup gift

Hey!

Can't believe it's November already. Time flies by so quickly.
Well with a new month there's a new challenge over at the Digi Doodle Studios Challenge Blog. This months theme is "Christmas/Winter".

I got to play with this fun image called Hot Cocoa Gnomies and I colored it with Pormarkers. I decided to make a Snowman Soup gift. I took mini marshmallows, a candy cane and a sachet of hot cocoa mix and put them in a cellophane bag. I created the topper freehand. I adhered the image to the frond on two layers of cardstock that I have distressed. I had a lovely chocolate sentiment that goes well with the soup and adhered 3 white gems to a corner. On the back I adhered the recipe for the Snowman Soup I found on the internet. I created the text in word and added free vector snowmen to it. I cut the text with a stitched rectangle die and created also a mat for it with chocolate brown cardstock. I created 3 snowflakes with cutting and embossing punch set.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

The image is called "Chistmas Star" and I colored this fun image with Promarkers. The background is colored with old eye shadow palette.
To create this card I used dark green cardstock for the cardbase and also punched out the Winter sentiment border and the little Christmas trees. The red background paper has snowflakes on it. I matted the image on hollogram and dark red cardstock. Underneath I adhered a stack of dark green, dark red and a piece of corrugated paper from a package of crackers. I used a stars border die and a lovely snowflake die and I added a white gem stone to the snowflake.

Stormi Vega & Koopa and Troopa Sea Turtles

Hey!

Here's a Summer card I created using 2 Digi Doodle Studios images. I am fed up with the rain so I needed some summer fun ;-).

On the front of the card I used an image called Stormi Vega and on the inside I usde the digi set called  Koopa and Troopa Sea Turtles. The images are colored with Promarkers. I added glossy accents to the sunglasses of Stormi Vega.

I created this card during a online workshop from a club I am a member of. I don't know the name of this type of card, but I know you can find it on YouTube. To create this card I used directions, white, pink and patterned cardstock, distress ink, sea creatures dies and a lovely shell where I addhered a little pearl into.

Elliot and Elvis

Hey!

Today starts a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. This week theme is "dies and/or punches" and our sponsor is Dr. Digi House of Stamps.

I got to play with this fun image called "Elliot and Elvis" and I colored it using Promarkers. The bow on the package is colored with a Spectrum Noir Triblend. When seeing this image I had to make a card that looked like a little present. I used a white card base and added a strip of blue cardstock on the top of the card with foam tape to make it look like the lid. As the image has a dotted pattern on the present I used 2 sizes of circle punches and adhered it on the card base. On the edge of the lid is I added a fun stars edge using an edge punch. The little bow on top of the present I created using a bow die. The little label is from a Christmas punch out and cardstock design pack.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Coffin Treat Box

Hey!

Here's a little coffin treat box I created to go with this super cute Halloween image from Digi Doodle Studios called "Manny Mummy". The little box goes so great with the image.

I colored the image with Promarkers and fuzzy cut it. The little coffin treat box is made with a template from Birds SVG and pinted on A4 size paper. Along the edges of the coffin I created faux stitches with a white gelpen. The sentiment is created with a Dymo Omega label maker and orange embossing tape. To finish the little lit I added white gems. Inside the coffin I added some lovely Halloween chocolates and a skull lolly.

Hope you are all safe!
Here's a cauldron card I made to go with this cute little witch by Digi Doodle Studios called "Sabrina's Moon". Did you know there is a fun challenge over at the DDS Challenge Blog? This month's theme is "Pink or Halloween".

I colored the image using Promarkers and for the background I used an eye shadow palette that I used late eighties. So not to be used on my eye lit but on my craft projects.
I created the cauldron shape with a template from Diane Zechman that i have in my stash since 2014. An oldie but a goodie. Other items that I used to create this card are black, orange, yellow and purple cardstock, stars dies, netting from grapefruits, star gems, black gems and a white gel pen for the faux stitching.

Jezz & Kitt

Hey!

Here's a card I made with a new image from Digi Doodle Studios. It's called "Jezz & Kitt".

I colored the image with Promarkers. I wanted to give the dress a fun color and only used 5 colors and a blender to create it. I love how it turned out. It's fun to do and will use it more often. Because of the soft colors I decided she needed to be on a black card so she pops. The card base is created with a piece of black linen cardstock. I used washi tape of the same colors as I used for her dress, added pearlescent sequins a lovely sentiment, vellum, white dots and stitching with white gell pen.

Did you know there's a monthly challenge over at the DDS Challenge blog? You don't need to use DDS images to win lovely digi stamps. This month's theme is "Use Black a/o Purple". Guess I used both on this card.
