Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's an easel card I created with a gorgeous image from Digi Doodle Studios. I love images that are coffee themed.

The image is called "Chenoa & Friends" and I coloured it with Promarkers and the penguins are coloured with Faber-Castell Polychromos. To create this card I used a fun shape die set I folded the largest, Other items I used are; red and pink cardstock, INS Gentle Winter pattern paper, walnut stain distress ink, snow flake die and iridescent gems. I didn't add a sentiment yet as I don't who will receive this card but it sure will have something with coffee in it ;-)

Gnome Improvements

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today starts a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week it was my turn to pick a theme and I have chosen "Shaped Cards" and our fabulous sponsor is Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.

I got to play with this fun image called "Gnome Improvements" and colored it with Promarkers and DecoTime alcohol Twinmarkers and created the pattern of the wallpaper with Faber-Castell Polychromos. I created the shaped card with a DecoTime die set that I love. The card is for a male friend who just got a new home. The pattern papers are scraps from my stash. I used kraft and dark blue cardstock as a mat. For the sentiment I used my Dymo LetraTag.

Lovable Mouse

 
Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's a round shaker card I created for my mother for Mother's Day. The card is created with a super cute boy mouse from a stamp set by Ink n' Splatter called "Lovable Mice".

I colored the image with Promarkers and with Faber-Castell Polychromos I added a pattern to his little jacket. To create this card I used the following items; kraft cardstock, pink cardstock, red paper, background paper fromt the INS Sweetheart paper pad, big scalloped circle die, circle dies, heart dies, mica, mini heart die cuts, pink textured vinyl lace, heart punch, red fine liner, wallnut stain distress ink and hugs  & kisses border die.

Niko Photographer

 

Hey!

Today I'd like to share with you a card I created with one of the photographers from Digi Doodle Studios.

The image is called "Niko Photographer" and I colored him with Promarkers. I have drawn a pattern with Faber-Castell Polychromos on his shirt. For this card I used the following items; white card base, orange and black cardstock, 2 kinds of patterned paper, camera die, film strip die, small alphabet die, white ink and walnut stain distress ink.

Here's a bottle tag I made for a bottle of watermelon cocktail. The image is from Colour of Love and it's called "Jellyana" and is one of the wonderful Mermaids available in the COL shop.
I coloured the image mainly with Promarkers, a few FC Polychromos and the background is done  with old eye shadow. The tag is in total 21cm long and 8,5cm wide. I scored it at 5cm length wise and after folding it I made a hole with a 1¼" circle punch for the tag to fit a bottle neck. I used the following items to create this bottle tag; blue and pink cardstock, blue holographic cardstock, pink and white striped paper, heart border doily die, happy birthday border die, doily edge punch, white vinyl lace, flower burst die and flatback pearls.

Koopa & Troopa Sea Turtles

Hey!

Here's a card I made with an image from the new Digi Doodle Studios "Summer Splash" release.

The image is called "Koopa & Troopa Sea Turtles" and I coloured them using Faber-Castell Polychromos. I created a little background with watercolour paint (blue, green, yellow). I used a blue linen card base and added a lovely water wave background. I had some lovely dies to go with this image sea shell border die, octopus die, fish die and a crab die. I added some googly eyes to the octopus and the crab. I added some transparent stones to create air bubbles and some sequins to add a little dark blue.

Serina Mermaid

Hey!

Here's a card I made using one of the lovely mermaids from Digi Doodle Studios. This one is called "Serina Mermaid".

I coloured this gorgeous mermaid using Promarkes and Faber-Castell Polychromos. The image is cut out with a rectangle stitched die. The shape of the card I just cut freehand. I wanted a a card shape that was like water waves. I used gesso on the edges of the card. The piece of dp is torn. I added gauze, vinyl lace, bubbles die cut, mermaid tails die cut and a lovely sentiment.

10th Anniversary

Lena's Teddy Bear

Hey!

Today I'd like to show you a card I made using a lovely Digi Doodle Studios image called "Lena's Teaddy Bear".

I coloured the image using Promarkers and Faber-Castell Polychromos. I used purple linen cardstock for the cardbase and used printed design paper on top of it. added a roset, doily scalloped circle die cut, tags, postcard, page torn out of a dictionary. I like how this turned out. I didn't add a sentiment yet as I think this card is suitable for more than just a birhday.

Here's a rocking card I made using a gorgeous image by Heather Valentin's Colour of Love called "Queen of Hearts Mermaid".

I colored the image using Promarkers and Faber-Castell Polychromos. I just got a new paper pack from Craft Sensations and love it. Other items I used are doily heart die, heart die, hearts background die, heart border die, mermaid tails border die and distress ink. I love how it turned out.

The Snow Queen

Hey!

Here's a birthday card I made for my son's girlfriend. The image is a coloring page from Christine Karron and I loved it so much that I wanted to create a card with her.

The image is called "The Snow Queen"and I colored it using Promarkers and Faber-Castell Polychromos. For the background I used black and silver glitter wrapping paper. Other items I used: icicle border die, snowflakes border die, snowflake die, snowflake punch, tag punch, flower punch, white gelpen, flatback pearls and diamond painting stones.

CCC - Monochrome

I got to play with this image called "Hydrangea Flower" and colored it using Faber-Castell Polychromos. For the card I used a white cardbase and added 2 kinds of double sides paper from a green color block.  Like How it turned out. I have curved the leaves of the Hydrangea to give it some deptht.

I created a card using a Dutch Doobadoo template called "Shape Art Rectangle". The image is colored with Faber-Castell Polychromos. I distressed all edges and created little critters using cicle punches and triangles. Like how they turned out.

Here's a card I made using one of the two new digi's from Stamps by Julia Spiri. It's The Princesses Collection. There's a discount code in the shop usable July 14 - July 15.

This image is called "The Princess Margaret". I colored her with Faber-Castell Polychromos and made a card with a curtain like background. Just like a background on a painting in those days.
This photo got me inspired.

I used a From the Heart Stamps digi called "Birthday Candle" and colored it with Faber-Castell Polychromos. Items used to create the card; Kraft card base, scraps of dp, corrugated paper from a package of cookies, thin rope and distress ink for all the edges.

This image is called "The Cake Hat" and I colored it with Faber-Castell Polychromos. Only the skin is colored with Promarker, because I like the color combo. Items used to create this card: white linen card base, 2 pieces of design paper, walnut stain distress ink, magnolia cherry border die, happy birthday border die, strawberries die and a piece of gauze.

The Fantasy Hat

There is a new awesome release "The Hat Collection" from Stamps by Julia Spiri.

I got to play with "The Fantasy Hat" and colored it with Faber-Castell Polychromos. Still getting used to using pencils instead of alcohol markers. I made a card with a few folds. Was a lot of work but I like the end result. Also love to recycle corrugated paper from cookie packages.

Fashion in Paris

Hey!

Today is a new release from Stamps by Julia Spiri. It's called "The Paris Collection"

I got to play with this gorgeous image called "Fashion in Paris". It's colored with Promarkers (skin and hair) and Faber-Castell pencils (dress). I got the pencils for my birthday and it's the very first time using them. Only need some odorless turpentine the next time.
I made a background with the images that come with this gorgeous lady and only colored the added hearts.
