Peace on Earth

Hey!

I made this card for my mom. Today is my father's birthday and it's his 10th birthday without him. Time flies and we miss him more each year. My father helt pigeons and raced with them, that's why I wanted to make a card using Lacy Sunshine's Peace on Earth from the Angel Kisses Collection.

The image is colored with Promarkers and I added glitter to her wings. The card is made with white cardstock, 2 dp's, square metal dies, glitter tape, star punch, walnut stain distress ink for the edges, star straw and a string of jute.

There's still plenty of time to enter Lacy Sunshine's Anything Goes challenge for a chance to win some awesome images.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

template from Dutchdoobadoo. The lovely background is from Studio light and the heart die cuts are from Noor Design. The lovely banner is made with a brand less die. The little tags are made with corrugated cardstock from a package of cookies.

Angel Star Sprite

Hey!

It's the 15th of the month and that means a brand new fortnight challenge at CCC Digi Creations.
This challenge is themed "Christmas" and our sponsor is Aurora Wings.

I got to play with this cute image called "Angel Star Sprite" and colored it with Promarkers. I made a little ornament (Ø 7cm) for my sisters Christmas tree. It represents her 4 little angels who are in heaven. In the ball are 4 little wooden stars, one for each child. I hope she likes it. Behind the little angel I added glitter vinyl. Love the effect it has. Sadly it doesn't show well on the photo.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Pumpkin Stash

Happy Halloween!!

Today is not a fun day for me, as my dad died on Halloween 2007. But I don't want to be sad and want to honor my father and think of fun memories. We don't celebrate Halloween in my country but ever since my father died I decorate my home and make little projects and send my family Halloween cards.

This time I made a little pumpkin box using a svg file from MyScrapChick and the gorgeous Pumpkin Stack image from Jennifer Nilsson Art. The image is colored with Promarkers and I fussy cut it with a kraft knife. I use this fun little pumpkin box for small hard candy and it will be part of my Halloween decoration every year.
