Little Rory Tying Shoes

Today starts a new challenge over at Passion for (pro)Markers. This weeks theme is "Blue or Pink as main colour" and our sponsor is Dies to die for.

I created this circle shaped card using one of my favourite die sets. The images is from Heather Valentin's ArtWorld and it's called "Little Rory Tying Shoes" and I coloured her with Promarkers and have fussy cut the image. To create this card I used the following items: blue and orange cardstock, Ink N' Splatter paper pack, stitched circle dies, white gel pen, walnut stain distress ink, happy birthday die, doily edge punch and mini tickets die.

Rory's Eggstra Delivery

Here's an Easter card I created with one of the gorgeous Rory images from Colour of Love by Heather Valentin.

The image is called "Rory's Eggstra Delivery" and I coloured it with Promarkers. I created this card using the following: white card base, pink cardstock, multi patterned cardstock, white gelpen, cream vinyl lace and dymo letra tag embossing tape for the sentiment.

Rory Heart You

Hey!

Here's a Valentine's card I made in non-traditional colors. The images is called "Rory Heart You" from Heather Valentin's Colour of Love.

The image is colored using Promarkers. Sadly the colors don't show up to well on the photo but in real life the colors are the same as the color scheme I used. I used a lot of scraps to create this card. I have piles of bits and pieces and they just need to be used.

LSS - Rory's Winter Poinsettia

Hey!

Happy Christmas in July ;-) Here's a card I made using this gorgeous Lacy Sunshine image drawn by Heather Valentin called "Rory's Winter Poinsettia" and I colored it using Promarkers.

I made a cross card. As a sentiment I created a border using a big alphabet and adhered it on the back of the card. On top of the inside card I adhered a strip using a doily edge punch. The big Poinsettia is created using a die set (one of my favorite). The dp is white cardstock with velvet poinsettia on top of it. Have this laying around for so many years and found this the right project to use it for. All edges of the dp are distressed and on the green cardstock I used white ink on the edges.

Rory - The Steampunk Witch

Hey!

Here's a card I made using a lovely image from the one and only Heather Valentin, artist and owner of Lacy Sunshine Stamps.

I created a steampunk card using Rory - The Steampunk Witch and colored her using Promarkers. I wanted to do something else than using kraft. Items used to create this card: Pink and grey linen cardstock, embossing folders (clocks and gears), gears border die, broom die, mini gears die, clock charm, pink satin ribbon, birthday sentiment and walnut stain distress ink.

Love Rory Kokeshi Doll

Here's a new card with a lovely image made by the one and only Heather Valentin from Lacy Sunshine Stamps.

The image is called "Love Rory Kokeshi Doll" and I colored it using Promarkers.
Items I used for creating: white card base, kraft cardstock, white copy paper to create my own background using different kind of heart stamps and fired brick distress ink, pink and red cardstock, Marianne Design heart dies and a the fancy heart border die from Crafty Sentiments Designs.

Rory Autumn Pretty Parcel

 Hey!

Here's a card I made using Rory Autimn Pretty Parcel from the one and only Heather Valentin from Lacy Sunshine Stamps.

I colored the image with Promarkers and here's the recipe card.

For the card I used kraft card base, some lovely Craft Sensations papers from The Colors of Christmas design block.  The leaf border die is from Studio Light and the smal leafs are from Marianne Design.

Rory Witches Brew

Here's a Halloween card I made using Lacy Sunshine's image called Rory Witches Brew, Did you know there are already 25 Lacy Sunshine coloring books available at Amazon?

The image was released as Secret Garden Club of the Month Image. (There ar so many lovely Halloween images in the store) I colored her with Promarkers and used some fab Halloween dp  from Echo Park (Chillingsworth Manor). You can find the colors I used on the Recipe Card.

Rory's Devil Costume

Rory Sailing

Rodeo Queen Rory

Hey!

Today is the launch of a new group called Heather Valentin's Coloring Without Boundaries. It's a fun coloring community for all ages.

I got to play with Lacy Sunshine's Rodeo Queen Rory and she is colored with Promarkers. The image is from the All about Rory Coloring Set #14. Normally I don't color whole scenes as I like to fussy cut my images. This was challenging for me. I like how it turned out. Still learning to color as I never have followed a class in coloring. I notice do the difference of coloring a few years back and now. Still in progress but that's so much fun. It's like a big adventure.

Movie gift card holder

Last challenge I didn't get the chance to make a project, because my printer broke down. Still haven't got a new printer, but someone was so nice to print my image for the new Lacy Sunshine challenge. Challenge #58 is themed Monochromatic.

Harvest/Thanksgiving

 

Hey!

Welcome to a new fortnight challenge at the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog, theme Harvest/Thanksgiving.

We don't have this theme festivities in my country, but always love pumpkins. We had a Pumpkin/Halloween fair close by every year but since a few years it's forced to end the fair because of complains by other farmers. So sad that happened because it's a lot of fun for the kids.

Well here's my big pumpkin card featuring Rory's Giant Pumpkin. I colored her with Promarkers. The big and small pumpkin are made with oval die cuts and the stems are cut free hand. The pumpkin vines are also made with die cuts. The grass is a die cut from Mariekes Design and at the bottom of the card I adhered a strip of corrugated kraft paper.

Feature a Hat

Hey!

Welcome to a new fortnight challenge at the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog, theme "Feature a Hat".

I got to play with Rory Sailing. I love this cute character. I colored her with Promarkers, used G45 by the sea collection paper, cutted a ship wheel with my Silhouette (version 1) and added some flatback pearls to it. Also added some embroidery floss to attach a sailboat charm.
