Mer-May - Sea Tot Queen

 Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's a card I created with one of the new mermaids from Heather Valentin's ArtWorld.

This image is called "Sea Tot Queen" and I colored it with Winsor & Newton Promarkers and Brush markers. I have created this card with the following items: purple cardstock, INS patterned paper, walnut stain distress ink, mermaid tails border die, heart doily die, pearls, Ink n' Splatter sentiment.

Queen of Hearts Mermaid

 
Hi Crafty Friends,

Today starts a special challenge over at Passion for (Pro)Markers as it's our 14th Blog Anniversary. For this challenge I created a tag card using one of my newest big tag die. The image is called Queen of Hearts Mermaid and it's from Heather's  Valentin's Art World and I colored it with Promarkers. To create this card I used the following items: white/red/pink cardstock, 3 kinds of designer paper, doily heart die, heart die, hearts background die, mermaid tails die, digi sentiment, walnut stain distress ink, tule ribbon and light blue flatback pearls.

Mishell Mermaid

 

Hey!

Here's a shaped card I created using one of the gorgeous Digi Doodle Studios Mermaid images.

This image is called "Mishell Mermaid" and I colored her with Promarkers. To create this card I used the following items. Card template, dark blue/ligh blue/mint green/pink cardstock, silver glitter cardstock, recycled corrugated paper, mermaid tails diie, jelly fish die, bubbles die, netting die, flatback pearls, gem stones and a Dutch sentiment.

Sequana Mermaid

 

Hey!

Here's a card I created with one of the gorgeous Mermaids by Digi Doodle Studios. 

This image is called "Sequana Mermaid" and I colored her with Promarkers. To create this card I used the following items; card shape template, blue and pastel green cardstock, dp, blue vinyl lace, white lace, blue glitter ribbon, bubbles die, mermaid tails die, white gel pen (dots in her hair and the peals) and wink of stella on her tail and on the fishes.

I got to play with this fun image called "Narelle" and I colored her with Promarkers. This is a fun card to make. It has a little hidden message behind the card flaps of the mermaid. Here's a bottle tag I made for a bottle of watermelon cocktail. The image is from Colour of Love and it's called "Jellyana" and is one of the wonderful Mermaids available in the COL shop.
I coloured the image mainly with Promarkers, a few FC Polychromos and the background is done  with old eye shadow. The tag is in total 21cm long and 8,5cm wide. I scored it at 5cm length wise and after folding it I made a hole with a 1¼" circle punch for the tag to fit a bottle neck. I used the following items to create this bottle tag; blue and pink cardstock, blue holographic cardstock, pink and white striped paper, heart border doily die, happy birthday border die, doily edge punch, white vinyl lace, flower burst die and flatback pearls.

Nixie Mermaid

Hey!

Here's a star card I created using a Digi Doodle Studios image called "Nixie Mermaid".

I coloured the image using Promarkers. The card shape is made during a workshop. The card base is made out of soft blue cardstock and I matted it with hollogram cardstock from a box I had. I used a mermaid tails border die, netting die and a bubbles die.

Marina Mermaid

Hey!

Here's a lollipop card I made using one of the lovely Digi Doodle Studios Mermaids.

The image is called "Marina Mermaid"and I coloured her using Promarkers. I made a roset with 2 strips of purple cardstock (7 x 29,7 cm) and scored it at every centimeter. Before folding I adhered the 2 strips to eachtother and I used the Martha Steward Doily border punch to create a lovely border. Then I made the accordion fold and adhered the ends to eachother. Other items used: mermaid tails border die, fish die, bubbles die, white vinyl lace, pink satin ribbon, rosé pin, fish charm and a paper straw.

Serina Mermaid

Hey!

Here's a card I made using one of the lovely mermaids from Digi Doodle Studios. This one is called "Serina Mermaid".

I coloured this gorgeous mermaid using Promarkes and Faber-Castell Polychromos. The image is cut out with a rectangle stitched die. The shape of the card I just cut freehand. I wanted a a card shape that was like water waves. I used gesso on the edges of the card. The piece of dp is torn. I added gauze, vinyl lace, bubbles die cut, mermaid tails die cut and a lovely sentiment.

Amatheia Mermaid

Hey!

Here's my first card of the new year using a Digi Doodle Studios image.

The image is called "Amatheia Mermaid" and I colored her using Promarkers. For the background I tried something I have never done before. I used 2 colors of water colors (purple and blue). Love how that turned out. I used a card shape template from the Action, my NEW mermaid tails border die, sea shell dies, bubbles die, digital sentiment, circle punches, scalloped circle die, blue distress ink, oval die, oval scalloped die and gauze.

LSS - Heart of the Sea Mer

Hey!

Here's a Valentines Card I created with a gorgeous Mermaid created by Heather Valentin of Lacy Sunshine Stamps.

Lacy Sunshine has also some gorgeous coloring books. You can find them on Amazone.

The image is called "Heart of the Sea Mer" and I colored her using Promarkers. Around the image I created a border with a lovely Fancy Heart border die from Crafty Sentiments and created a border using 2 heart punches. I had a piece of netting and added 2 shells to it and a lovely Valentines sentiment.
