Another Drink

 

Hey!

Today starts a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. This weeks theme is "Make us Smile" and our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps.

I got to play with "Stella Peeker - Another Drink" (love this fun character). The image is coloured with Promakers. I also used the sentiment that comes with the image. It's funny and sure made me laugh.

Items I used to create this card; white card base, some scraps of patterned paper and pink cardstock. I cute a little border freehand and used a lovely cocktail die cut.

Pencil shaped card

Hey!

This month it's Heather Valentin's Eleanor and Pickles' 8th birthday. She has so many gorgeous images to colour in her Colour of Love shop.

Here's a little history about the birth these cute characters.
Late one night in June of 2012, Heather Valentin was on the phone and was drawing and the first imag of Eleanor and Pickles was created - Eleanor and Pickles Book of Spells. The first image of Eleanor by herself was Eleanor Bookworm. 

Now, 8 years later, Eleanor and Pickles make up a large category of images in the Colour of Love Shop. Eleanor and Pickles along with various other character friends, like Tilly the dinosaur, have had many adventures over the past 8 years and Heather continues to draw new of these delightful characters.

I created a card in the shape of a pencil to go with this gorgeous image called "Eleanor and Pickles Back to School". The image is coloured with Promarkers. To create the card I used the following: kraft card base (cut it into a pencil shape), circle die (to create the tip of the pencil), washi tape (to create the pattern on the pencil), paper measuring tape (free from the hardware store), from the off cuts of the card I created 2 little book embellishments, added two circle paperclips to the side of the card and added distress ink along the side of the card and the little books.

Cadence

Hey!

Here's a piano easel card I created with one of the Digi Doodle Studios images from the "Musicians" new release called "Cadence". Images will be available in the shop as of June 19th. 

When I saw this image I had to create this Piano card. I coloured the image with Promarkers. I found a tutorial of this card on Youtube and only used the base of it. I added a piece of vellum to the front that I got in a music notes embossing folder through my Cuttlebug and I added white flat gems and music notes from a thin cuts die.

Veronica Sage

Hey!

Here's a card I created using a gorgeous Digi Doodle Studios image called "Veronica Sage". 

The image is coloured with Promarkers. I created a card like this once before and had enough scraps of paper to create it once more but with other leaves and sentiment. I used 2 kinds of patterned paper, white, pink, green and kraft cardstock, retro flower punch (medium size), medium leaf punch, tag die, circle punches and dies, walnut stain distress ink and flatback pearls.

Tulips

Hey!

Today starts a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and this time I got to choose the theme. I have chosen it to be "Use Flowers and Pearls". Our sponsor this week is The Paper Shelter.

I got to play with this gorgeous image called "Tulips" and coloured it with Promarkers and fussy cut it.
The following items were used to create this card; kraft cardstock, 3 pieces of patterned cardstock, walnut stain distress ink, doily edge punch, pink vinyl lace, flatback pearls, big flower and a tulip charm.

Rockin Reed

Hey!

Here's a card I created with one of the new release images from Digi Doodle Studios. This images is called Rockin Reed. The Music release will be available in the DDS Shop as of June 19th.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and added a wood floor and music wallpaper with Faber Castell Polychromos. The image is cut out with a large stitched circle die. Other items I used to create this card; kraft cardstock, patterned cardstock, black cardstock, walnut stain distress ink, label die, music notes thin cuts die, circle punch and a Dutch birthday sentiment.

Cupcake Card

Hey!

Here's a cupcake card I designed to go with this adorable image from Colour of Love. I altered the image with permission of the the creator Heather Valentin. Here you can find the image called Eleanor and Pickles Yummy Sweets with the background. It's available for a special prize as it is Eleanor and Pickles' 8th birthday month.

I coloured the image with Promarkers. The card is created with scraps from my stash. To create this card I didn't use any dies. I just cut everything freehand. Even the cherry on top. I love how it turned out. The corrugated card is the inside of a cardboard box. Love to use that. I added sprinkles to the frosting with red, green and brown gel glitter gel pen.

Hey!

Today starts a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. This weeks challenge theme is "Celebrations" and our sponsor is Crafty Sentiments Design.

I got top play with this cute image called "Tobey Heart Balloon", coloured him with Promarkers and FC Polychromos and fussy cut it. I created a heart shaped lollipop card. Lollipop cards are fun to make and always makes a person smile when they get them. For the big heart I used a card art template from Dutch Doobadoo. I recycled a piece of cardboard box, added a piece of scrap dp, a punched out printed digital sentiment and adhered to a punched out circle, mini tags, distress ink, paper straw and blue satin ribbon.

Java Jada

Hey!

It's the 1st of a new month so that means a new challenge over at the Digi Doodle Studios Challenge Blog. This month's theme is Anything Goes so that's an easy one. Feel free to join the fun for a chance to win some awesome DDS images of your choice. Good luck to you!

I got to play with this gorgeous image called "Java Jada". she is coloured with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir Tri-Blends. I created a tag because they are so easy to make and you can build it up to whatever you like. The size of this tag is 16x8 centimeters and the corners are cut at 1cm from the top and the side. Well that's easy. The paper on top of the tag is an inside piece from a bon bon protector (Milka). The corrugated card is from a small cardboard box where I have taken the front and back off.  The coffee bean paper is a digital one printed on copy paper. I created little tags from scraps of paper and created a fun edge with a border punch. the front piece is also a scrap. and I added a kraft straw cut in pieces, some lace, jute coard, a butterfly and distress in along the sides of the papers. The image is adhered with some foam tape.
