GDT - Sasayaki Glitter

Hey!

Here's my 2nd GDT card for Sasayaki Glitter. This time I made a card for one of my nephews using this fun giraffe image called "Image #163 - Birthday Giraffes" and colored it using Promarkers.

This card is very simple to make with a card base and some left over strips of card stock. The top of the box is adhered to the front of the card and is a bit broader than the card. The yellow pieces are short pieces that I tucked under the image. I have drawn the bow myself and cut it out and made it into a 3D bow.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Little Skater

Hey!

Here's a card I made as GDT for All Dressed Up's new challenge.

The big ice skate is paper pieced using black and white cardstock, aluminum tape on a piece of scrap cardstock, white brads, white eyelets and white embroidery floss. The skate is cut by hand. Love how it turns out every single time. I picked 3 designer cardstock and love the one with the little ice skates. To finish the card I added a snow flakes border, flatback pearls, snowflake punch outs and a winter sentiment.

This month I have been chosen to be Guest Designer at Fabrika Fantasy. The challenge is Monochrome.

I got to play with this cute image called "Flying Elf" and colored it with Promarkers. Normally I'd go for pink, but since I had a dragon to color I went for green. The dark- and lighter green backgrounds and tags are made out of pieces of paint samples from the diy store. Other items used: white linen cardstock, stitched squares and circle dies, circle punches and a dutch sentiment.

Skating Birdbrain

Hey!

Here's my last creation for my term as Guest Designer for From The Heart Stamps. I loved it and want to thank Faith for letting me design for you and Imke for your warm welcome and great contact.

This is my midweek reminder for the i {heart} sketches challenge with sketch #88 with a twist. I used a new image called Skating Birdbrain and colored it with Promarkers. I found a lovely photo of a lake with ice where I placed this cute png image onto. I matted it on some white cardstock and underneath I adhered 2 pieces of cardstock that went through my Cuttlebug in a snowflake- and woodgrain embossing folder. I added some ink to sow the embossing better. I adhered 2 felt snowflake under the image and added a flatback pearl on top.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

The cardbase is made with a Dutch Doobadoo Christmas Tree template. I used a Forest border die by Couture Creations and a Nellie Snellen Star Swirl shape die and a Christmas Tree die by Marianne Design. I alos used a piece of white vinyl lace and stamped some labels. The sentiment is found on the internet.

I have made a card using sketch #43 and used the colors suggested on the inspirational board. I colored up Super Birdbrain with Promarkers and added a balloon (cut free hand). The yellow embroidery floss on the balloon is added to birdbrains wing by sticking a needle in the right places ;-)

Bubbles Ice Skating

Hey!

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. This fortnight I am Guest Designer at Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog. I so love those lovely characters. The challenge theme is Change of Season/Weather.

I made a card with a Dutch Doobadoo template and got to play with Bubbles Ice Skating. I colored this cute little girl with Promarkers and added glitter to her wings and gesso to the fury bits. The snowflakes are from Noor Design and the Ice Skate is from a template I found through Google. The glider from the skate is made with aluminum tape that I adhered on the cardstock. I used my crop-a-dile to set some white eyelets and brands and laced it up with crochet cotton. Like how it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

GDT at Lacy Sunshine

Hey!

For this fortnight challenge (Summer) at Lacy Sunshine I am their Guest Designer. How cool is that? Love those digi stamps, they are super cute. It was super fun to be your Guest Designer!

I got to play with Bubbles Sailing. She's from the Sticky Wings Collection. I colored her with Promarkers. The Lighthouse (A4 size) is from Sandra's Scrapshop. I have cut it out of white cardstock and adhered red strips on top of it. I adhered it to a regular square card and made it into an easel card. This is what a lighthouse looks like for me white & red. I added some waves and adhered the image between them. On the bottom right you see a little bottle and it says "Message in a bottle". The anchor charm is from an bracelet that was broken and I kept all the little charms.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Tilda with a Big Rose

Hey!

Here's my last card as Guest Designer for I Love Promarker. It was so much fun being their GDT for July.
This weeks challenge is Ribbons.

I have chosen to color an image from the latest Magnolia Collection called Pink Lemonade. The image is called Tilda with a Big Rose. I colored her with Promarkers. The card is made with a Marianne Designs CreaTable die LR0180. It's the first time I made this shape and I like it. Underneath the image is a lace ribbon and I added some lilac gems. The Dutch sentiment stamp is also from Marianne Designs. On the left side I adhered 3 white roses and on the right side a piece of lilac grosgrain ribbon.

So now it's your turn to grab your Letraset markers (Pro, Flex, Aqua or Tria) and enter the ribbon challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Hugs,
Kitty
