Casual Boy

 

Hi Crafty Friends!

Today starts a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog with optinal twist "Embossing".

I created a card for one of my nephews. The image is called "Casual Boy" and I coloured him with Promarkers and Ohuhu markers. I used only scraps to create the card. These items are; blue cardstock, 3 pieces of scrap pattern paper one of them is embosses leather paper, the other embossed item is the sentiment that I created with my Dymo Letratag, I added faux stitching with a white gel pen and I adhered 3 dark blue gems.

White & Blue Winter

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today starts a new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this weeks theme is "Fall or Winter" and our fabulous sponsor is Colour of Love. I love winter holiday and this card is made for winter wishes instead of Christmas wishes.

I got to play with this cute image called "Snowflake Sprite Teacup Bouquet" and I coloured it with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir Tri Blends. To create this card I used the following items: white/blue/holographic cardstock, snowflakes embossing folder, stitched square die, winter border die, light blue lace, snowflake punches and light blue flatback pearls.

My Girl Valentine

Hey!

Here's a card I'd like to share with you using a sweet image from Digi Doodle Studios called "My Girl Valentine".

I made a cas card. The image is colored with Promarkers. For the card base I took white cardstock and embossed the front of the card with a tri-boss embossing folder. As the embossing folder was smaller than the card I took a hearts edge die to fill in the blank space. I adhered the hearts that came from the die cut all over the card front for the extra pop of red.

Honeybee Enchantress

It's Tuesday and that means a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. This week it was up to team 2 to create some inspirational cards. This weeks theme is "Embossing Heat a/o Dry" and our sponsor is Colour of Love.

I got to play with this fun image called "Honeybee Enchantress" and colored her with Promarkers. I have created a fun bee hive tag that I made out of small (2cm) of yellow linen cardstock and rounded the corners with a corner rounder and added distress ink to the strips before adhering them together. My part of embossing is with an hexagon embossing folder on vellum and I created 2 tags with it. Other items used for my project: pastel yellow vinyl lace, yellow paper roses, yellow rose buds (made them myself), wooden bee, twine, black tule ribbon to the honey parts on the image I used gold glitter gel pen.

You've got a BIG Heart

Hey!

Here's a card using one of the new a day for daisies digi. Love this cute image. I made a CAS card.

I colored the digi with Promarkes and die cut it and underneath is a doily heart die cut. I folded the front of the card back and adhered the heart half way. The two sides you see when the card is closed have an embossed strip of linen cardstock. Like how it turned out.

Merry Winter

Hey!

Today I made this card with this years last sketch from i {heart} sketches.

I used a lovely old digi stamp from Sassy Cheryl. I colored the image with promarkers used linen cardstock in the colors white (card base), dark blue and grey. I embossed a piece of vellum with a lovely snowflakes and hearts embossing folder and I addes some gems.

Have a Bewitchin' Halloween

Hey!

Pfff... Autumn is kicking in. It's getting colder each day and we have rainy days with heavy winds. Good day to make cards ;-)

Here's my take on sketch #37 for this weeks i {heart} sketches challenge. I turned it upside down.

I used a cute Bewitchin' Birdbrain image from FTHS. I colored it with promarkers and matted it on a peace of orange cardstock. I ran the black peace of cardstock trough the cuttlebug in a pumpkin embossingfolder.

Tijd voor een feestje

 

Hey!

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt als gastdesigner bij Kreatrends.

Ik heb een easelkaart gemaakt met de vierkante frame van Noor! Verder een afdrukje van Magnolia dat ik heb ingekleurd met promarkers. Het hekje en gras zijn ook van Magnolia. Het vogelhuisje is van Noor! en ik heb het vogeltje nogmaals in wit gesneden en dat op de vogel geplakt, voorzien van een oogje en omlijnd met zwarte fineliner om de vogel iets meer op te laten vallen. Achter het vogelhuisje heb ik rode cardstock geplakt en voorzien van glossy accents. De vlinders zijn een onderdeel van een mal van Crafts-Too. In de rechter bovenhoek heb ik nog een vintage flourish van Noor! bevestigd. Verder is de kaart afgemaakt met een sentiments en parels.

Ik vond het erg leuk om als gastdesigner gevraagd te zijn door Hennie. Bedankt hiervoor!

Tripple Easel Card

Hey!

Ik ben al geruime tijd bezig met het maken van deze tripple easel kaart voor een vriendin die in mei gaat trouwen. Ik wilde een speciale en aparte kaart voor haar maken en ik denk dat dat wel gelukt is. De zijpanelen zijn pockets, dus de rose labels kunnen eruit en daar zal een persoonlijke boodschap in staan. De kaart is erg bewerkelijk maar wel leuk om te maken. Door energiegebrek heb ik deze kaart beetje bij beetje gemaakt. Zou best zo kunnen zijn dat ik er nog wat aan toevoeg voor het echt de deur uit gaat ;-)

Ik heb de volgende items gebruikt:
Wit A4 kaartkarton, Zachtrose cardstock, Magnolia stempel, Promarkers, Embossing folder, Lint, Tab stansje, Hoekstansje, Vlinderstansjes en ponsen, Bloemenpons, Tekststempel, Houten hartjes, Strassteentjes en zilver glitterlijm.

Edwin in Miami

Hey!

Today I made a embossing card.

Cardbase is off white linen cardstock. Love this new embossingfolder. The cute stamp is Edwin in Miami from the Magnolia Summer Memories Collection. I colored him with promarkers. On the left side I adhered a strip with a doily edge on both sides and in the middle a strip of cardstock with a embossed dutch sentiment.

Chasing Butterflies

Hey!

This morning I made a butterfly card using a template I made. The stamp is from Saturated Canary and is specially  because of the 8th aniversary of the club "Kaarten maken met Tiets".


The cardbase is pearlescent linen cardstock. The digi is called Chasing Butterflies and it's available in the Saturated Canary. I colored her with my promarkers and have a little silver charm dangling from the butterfly net. Punched some butterflies in different sizes, adhered pink bling in the flowercenters of the embossed butterfly background. The sentiment is from Marianne and I made the little roses with a Joy Crafts cutting die.

1000 Kusjes

Hey!

Vandaag dit kaartje gemaakt voor de speciale meiwedstrijd op de blog van Duymelot.
Hier word gevraagd een kaart te maken naar eigen idee en het op te sturen naar de winkel,
zodat deze op 3 juni 2012 verkocht kan worden tijdens de Ladies Ride van Leontien van Moorsel in Raalte. Goed initiatief vind ik, dus doe ik mee.

Heb gebruik gemaakt van de speicale duymelot magnolia stempel raining Tilda hearts. Kaart is gebroken wit met erop een mat dat met hartjes embossed is (hier en daar een hartje roodgemaakt), verder nog de cheery lynn hart die, wat uitgeponste bloemen met een parelhartje, een sentiment van Marianne Design en de hartjes van Tilda heb ik voorzien van glossy accents. De kaart is met walnut stain distress inkt behandeld rondom de randjes.

De kaart is inmiddels onderweg.

Oval Easelcard

Hey!

Today I made this easelcard using some dies to create this form. Was the first time I did this and like doing it, so more to come.

Cardbase is soft yellow linen cardstock, top layer went in an embossingfolder with cupcakes through the cuttlebug. Distressed the edges with some wallnut stain distress ink. Coloured the image with my soft colors promarkers, printed a sentiment, puched some butterflies, used pink pearlbead chains and polkadot satin ribbon. Like the way it turned out.

Easter Butterfly Easelcard

Hey!

Today I made this Easter Butterfly Easelcard. Love how it turned out.
I used an older image from Magnolia of Tilda with a little lamb.
I made this butterfly myself, so no prefab. Lot of drawing en cutting.

The card is made using white linen cardstock. The top butterfly went through the cuttlebug in a flower embossingfolder. I distressed the whole embossed butterfly and the edges with milled lavender distress ink. In the middle I adhered some mint green satin ribbon and white lace on top of that. In the middle of 3 embossed flowers are some rhinestones. Also I used some punched retro flowers, little butterflies and a easter sentiment.
