Sleeping Flower

Hey!

Yesterday I created this Circle Side Step Card using a round plate of 17,2cm.

The image I used is a sweet digi by A Day For Daisies called Sleeping Flower. It's just the right image for a card for my sister on Valentines day. In 1992 she gave birth to a still born baby girl. She carried her to term. It was a very sad day and I stayed in the hospital with my sister that night. Since then I send her a valentines card every single year to let her know I haven't forgotten it.

I colored the image with Promarkers and cut it out with an oval xcut die and matted it on a scalloped oval die. I also die cut a magnolia tag, a joy crafts flourish, crafty sentiments fancy hearts border and some scalloped hearts. I have punched out 3 white butterflies and 3 little red hearts. I made a little pin embellishment with 2 pearls and a silver wing and stuck it in a pieco of foam underneath the love ticket, adhered 5 turquoise rhinestones and 3 white pearls to finish it all.

I used colors according to this photo for the DT Call at Love to Create Challenge Blog.

I want to enter this card to the following challenges:
- Love to Create (DT Call) - Valentine's Day & Creative Fold
- A Day for Daisies - #88 Use Red & Pink

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Get Well Soon

Hey!

This week Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring Paper Crafting Journey's challenge with theme Emboss That.

I made a get well soon (Beterschap in dutch) card. You can't have enough of those cards. I used a lovely SSD image called Nurse Honey. I colored her with Promarkers and layered it on a red mat and adhered some lovely red lace on the left edge. The white mat on top of the card base is embossed with a embossing folder on top of that I adhered a strip of red washi tape and I stamped a lovely post card clear stamp image from Noor Design. The sentiment is found on the internet as a freebie and the hour glass is a die cut from Joy Crafts. Love the white, black and reds together.

Come and join the challenge to get the change of winning some SSD images of your choice.

I want to enter this card to the following challenges:

What part of meow don't you understand?

Hey!

I made this sassy valentines card with a lovely SSD  image called "Pin Up Cat". You can get this one for free if you play along with the Facebook Challenge. I love this sassy Kitty. Great to use on a card for a man. I made the sentiment myself, because this image does need a sassy sentiment, don't you think?

I made a easel card by folding the front of a square card in half. I used a big heart die cut as the background for this image. I colored the image with promarkers. In the corner is a little rub-on. Around the edge of the black heart I created some faux stitching with a white gel pen and adhered some little red punched out hearts.

i {heart} card sketches #50

Hey!

Today I made this card with sketch #50 from IHS.

I wanted to make a card with this cute image from Sugar Nellie called Nathan (Simply Adorable Digitals)
I didn't color the image, because it looks so nice like it is. That's why I used 3 different patterned cardstock, busy washi tape and white lace.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

SSD Sponsorship - Craftitude

Hey!

This week Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring a fun challenge at Craftitude. The theme is Anything Goes or Ribbons & Pearls.

The image I used is one of the Curvy Girls that where to download for free on the SSD Blog the first days of the new year. She is called Curvy Sunbathing Sassy (available in the store now) and I colored her with Promarkers. I made a little square card (10 x 10 cm - approx. 4 x 4 inch) out of white linen cardstock and adhered a dark blue triangle on top of it and made some faux stitching along the side of the triangle shape. The sentiment came for the internet and I attached it to a peace of embossed red cardstock. To finish the card I tied a knot in a peace of red satin ribbon and adhered 5 little pearls.

Come over and join the fun challenge to get the change of winning a few SSD images of your choice.

I want to enter this card to the following challenge:

Winters kaartje

Hey!

Liefs,
Kitty
