Winter Blues

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

As of this month I am a new Design Team member for The Paper Shelter. I am very happy to be part of the TPS family.

Today starts a new challenge over at the TPS challenge blog and it's themed "Winter Blues". I got to play with this cute image called "Fantasy on Ice" and I coloured it with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir Tri Blends. To create this card I used the following items: dark blue and white cardstock, white ink, design paper, winter edge die, my new icicle die, felt snow flakes, 3 blue glitter gems and a digital sentiment.

Winter Teacup Bouquet

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Can't believe we are nearing the end of the year soon. Today starts the last challenge of 2024 at Passion for Markers and as every year it's our Mega Christmas Challenge. There are lots of prizes to win from following sponsors: Uniko, Polkadoodles, Dies to Die for, LeAnn's World101, RAM Stamps, SheepSki Designs, All Dressed Up and Di's Digistamps, 

I created a rocker card with an image from Heather Valentin's Art World called "Winter Teacup Bouquet" (love that het cute teacup is hanging with a cute bow). The image is coloured with Promarkers and DecoTime Twinmarkers. This card is created with the following items: white cardstock, Ink n' Splatter pattern paper, 5 sizes of DecoTime circle dies, Studio Light snowflake circle die, Xcut snowflake punches, digital sentiment, white sequins and light blue flatback pearls.

Snow Wonderful Snowman

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's a shaped card I created with a cute little snowman from an Ink n' Splatter stamp set called "Snow Wonderful Snowmen". I am more of sending a winter holiday card than Christmas cards.

The image is coloured with DecoTime Twinmarkers and Promarkers. I created this card with a metal die from Studio Light. The pattern paper is from an Ink n' Splatter paper pad called "Winter Blues". The base is created with white cardstock, the mat under the pattern paper is cut with a stitched die out of silver glitter cardstock. I added felt snowflakes and in the center of the snowflakes I adhered sequins and a flaback pearl. I also added 4 big pearls to some snowflakes of the die cut base.

I got to play with this gorgous image called "Potted Plants" and I coloured it with Promarkers and DecoTime Twinmarkers. Jolly Penguins 2

 
Hi Crafty Friends!

Here's a card I created for my little niece with one of the cute penguins from the "Jolly Penguins" stamp set by Ink n' Splatter.

I coloured the images with Promarkers and DecoTime Twinmarkers. This card isn't created with a die set, I just traced a card I have received from someone and cut it (I don't know what this card is called). The pattern paper is from an Ink n' Splatter paper pad called "Whisper of Winter". Along the edges of the paper I added walnut stain distress ink. The sentiment is created with my Dymo LetraTag and I added little snowflakes, sequins and a gem to finish the card.

Jolly Penguins

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's a label card I created with a fun new release from Ink n' Splatter.

The penguin and stack of presents are from a stamp set called "Jolly Penguins" and I colored them with Specrum Noir Tri-blends and DecoTime Alcohol Twinmarkers de pattern papers are from a paper pad called "Whisper of Winter". I created this card with a fun die set from DecoTime. Other items used: white cardstock, holographic cardstock for some gorgeous shimmer, white sequins, felt snowflakes, gems, wink of stella on all colored parts of the presents, the torn edges on the white copy paper as snow and the rim of the hat - love how much it all sparkles but sadly it doesn't show on the photo, light aqua pearls, a white gem as a pompon on the hat and a sentiment created with a Dymo LetraTag.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and DecoTime Twinmarkers. To create this card I used the following. A2 black card, black and orange cardstock, digi sentiment, stitched square dies, stitched circle dies, bat die, spider die and gorgeous pattern paper from an Ink n' Splatter paper pad called
"Boo-tastic"

I got to play with this fun fun stamp set called "Disco Fever" and I colored the image with Promarkers and DecoTime Twinmarkers and fussy cut it. The stamped image comes with the stamp set. Toad Stall

 

Hi Crafty Friends!

Today starts a new challenge over at Creative Knockouts and it's themed "Halloween or Fall" and our fabulous sponsor is "All Dressed Up".

I used and ADU image called "Toad Stall" and coloured it with Promarkes and DecoTime Twinmarkers. For some details I used a brown Faber-Castell Polychromos pencil. I have created a standing mushroom card with cream and red cardstock and created the spots with a circle punch. I drew some stripes on the mushroom door for a woden door effect. The background of the mushroom card is the same as the front. I love how well this card shape fits the image.

Here's another Halloween card I created with one of the cute ghosts from an Ink n' Splatter stamp set called "Ghoul Friends".

I colored the image with Promarkers and DecoTime Twinmarkers and the pattern papers are also from Ink n' Splatter from a paper pad called "Boo-tastic". Items used to create this card: white card base, white/black/orange/gold/purple cardstock, sentiment comes with the stamp set, die to cut out the sentiment, Quickutz bubbles and Quickutz whitches hat.

Winter Holiday Penguins

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's a heart shaped card I created to go with one of the cute penguin stamps by Ink n' Splatter. 

The stamp comes from the "Winter Holiday Penguins" stamp set and I colored it with Promarkers and DecoTime Twinmarkers and I added 3D paint on the fuzzy hat trims and pompoms. With my heat gun the paint gave some beautiful puff. The heart shapes are created with an old die set from Marianne Designs. The pattern papers are from 2 INS paper pads called "Winter Blues" and "Gentle Winter". The sentiment also comes with the stamp set. I added a stitched border on the white doily heart with red fine liner and to finish the card I added punched out snowflakes in three sizes and adhered gems in the middle of them.

I've been ready for Halloween since last Halloween

 

Hi Crafty Friends!

Here's another card I created with the fun new stamp release by Ink n' Splatter.

The stamp set is called "Ghoul Friends" and I coloured the images with Promarkers and DecoTime Twinmarkers. I decided to create a transparant card so the ghosts could float. I used the following to create this card: piece of transparant packaging, stitched square die, black and brown cardstock, piece of purple cloudy cardstock for the moon, circle die, birch trees die set, bat die, doohicky fence die, white ink, walnut stain distress ink, sentiment comes with the stamp set and I used a piece op paper from the INS Boo-tastic pattern paper pad.

Love is in the Air Elephant

 

Hi Crafty Friends!

Today starts a new challenge over at Creative Knockouts. It's themed "All Stitched Up" and our sponsor is Polkadoodles.

I got to play with this cute image called "Love is in the Air Elephant" and I colored it using Promarkers and DecoTime Twinmarkers. When I saw this image I knew I had to try and create an transparant card using one of my stitched square dies. Along the bottom of the front and back of the card I adhered a piece of blue cardstock that I cut using the same stitched square die. to create a background I adhered some cloud die cuts behind the image and added faux stitches with blue fine liner. I also added faux stitches to some of the balloons. The sentiment is created with a Dymo LetraTag and I have cut a tail both ends.

Other items I used to create this card: black, limegreen and purple cardstock, sentiment "Hey Boo" from the stampset, bubbles die, pattern paper from the INS Boo-tastic paper pad, walnut stain distress ink, circle dies, white ink and a Dymo Letratag.

Fall Tag Card

 

Hi Crafty Friends!

Here's a fall tag card I created to go with a bunch of fall flowers. It's great to create your own tags to go with gifts.

The cute squirell is from the "Fall Woodsy Critters" stamp set from Ink n' Splatter. It's such a fun stamp set with lovely critters and sentiments. I just bought this fun shape die set from DecoTime and it's a perfect size for a tag. I have used some scrap kraft cardstock and a piece of scrap pattern paper where I added some walnut stain distress ink along the edges. The image is colored with Promarkers and Decotime Twinmarkers. I added a pine cone and some leaves die cuts and I created the sentiment with my Dymo LetraTag. To finish the tag I added a piece of brown ribbon.

Gnome Improvements

Today starts a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This week it was my turn to pick a theme and I have chosen "Shaped Cards" and our fabulous sponsor is Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.

I got to play with this fun image called "Gnome Improvements" and colored it with Promarkers and DecoTime alcohol Twinmarkers and created the pattern of the wallpaper with Faber-Castell Polychromos. I created the shaped card with a DecoTime die set that I love. The card is for a male friend who just got a new home. The pattern papers are scraps from my stash. I used kraft and dark blue cardstock as a mat. For the sentiment I used my Dymo LetraTag.
