Lotus Pose (Padmasana)

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today starts a new challenge over at Creative Knockout Challenge Blog. This time it's themed "Something to Say" and our fabulous sponsor is The Paper Shelter.

I got to play with a fun image called "Lotus Pose (Padmasana)" I used the pre-coloured version as I love the colour combo. This card is created with one of my favourite card shape dies. Other items used to create this card; pink and white cardstock, 1 sheet of pattern cardstock, walnut stain distress ink, circle dies, butterfly die, big pink flower and a sentiment circle border die. When the card is opened it says "Relax and enjoy your day!". I forgot to take a photo of that and the card is already given to my sister in-law.

I got to play with "Hedgehog Flower" and coloured it with Promarkers. One of my favourite embellishments are gem stones. To create this card I used the following items; kraft and pink cardstock, pattern cardstock, walnut stain distress ink and a stitched square rectangle. I didn't add a sentiment yet as this card can be used for more than one occasion.

Some Bunny Loves You

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today starts a new challenge over at Creative Knockouts and it's themed "2 or More Pattern Papers". Our fabulous sponsor is Polkadoodles.

I got to play with this cute image called "3 Little Rabbits" and coloured it with Promarkers. In 2 hearts of the image I added a pattern with a pink fine liner. The image is cut out with a rectangle stitched die. The pattern papers come with the image and there is even een sentiment but I choose to create one with my Dymo Omega. Along the edges of the pattern papers I added walnut stain distress ink and I matted it on pink cardstock. The card base is white cardstock. I added punched out mini flower and adhered a mini pink pearl in the middle of it.

I got a new fun image to play with called "Spring Flower Gnome", coloured it with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir Tri Blends and fussy cut it. I used the following items to create this card: cream and blue cardstock, I had a new pad of pattern papers that goes so well with the image colours, I also used a lot of circle dies (plain, stitched and scalloped), a happy birthday circle border die, cream vinyl lace, fine liner, flower shaped gems and broken china distress ink that I just bought recently.

Toad Stall

 

Hi Crafty Friends!

Today starts a new challenge over at Creative Knockouts and it's themed "Halloween or Fall" and our fabulous sponsor is "All Dressed Up".

I used and ADU image called "Toad Stall" and coloured it with Promarkes and DecoTime Twinmarkers. For some details I used a brown Faber-Castell Polychromos pencil. I have created a standing mushroom card with cream and red cardstock and created the spots with a circle punch. I drew some stripes on the mushroom door for a woden door effect. The background of the mushroom card is the same as the front. I love how well this card shape fits the image.

Love is in the Air Elephant

 

Hi Crafty Friends!

Today starts a new challenge over at Creative Knockouts. It's themed "All Stitched Up" and our sponsor is Polkadoodles.

I got to play with this cute image called "Love is in the Air Elephant" and I colored it using Promarkers and DecoTime Twinmarkers. When I saw this image I knew I had to try and create an transparant card using one of my stitched square dies. Along the bottom of the front and back of the card I adhered a piece of blue cardstock that I cut using the same stitched square die. to create a background I adhered some cloud die cuts behind the image and added faux stitches with blue fine liner. I also added faux stitches to some of the balloons. The sentiment is created with a Dymo LetraTag and I have cut a tail both ends.

Penguin Party

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today starts a new challenge over at Creative Knockouts and this fortnight it's themed "Anything Goes" and our fabulous sponsor is "RAM Stamps".

I got to play with a fun new stamp set called "Penguin Party" and decided to pick uit the cute no lines penguin with balloons and added the stars/snow image to the balloons and colored them over with white gel pen. As I have a lot of winter birthday from my nephews I created a little winter hat to go with the image. I downloaded a winter hat template and created 3 parts to use 2 different pattern cardstock to create the winter hat with. I used a stitched circle die to cut create the pompom part of the hat, I added black fine liner along the sides of the 3 parts of pattern cardstock, used a Dutch birthday sentiment, 3 felt snowflakes and 3 light blue flatback pearls.

I got to play with this beautiful image called "Tulip Border Image No. 150" and colored it with Promarkers. My mother asked me to create a card for a dear friend of hers who stopped her cancer treatment, I hope these tulips will briten her days a little. This card is created with the following items: white linen cardbase (front folded in half), 3 kinds of pattern papers, 3 round flatback pearls, 3 heart shaped pearls, walnut stain distress ink, paper distresser, green fine liner, Dymo LetraTag to create a sentiment and to finish the card I added a filigrane corner to it.
