Bubbles Ice Skating

Hey!

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. This fortnight I am Guest Designer at Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog. I so love those lovely characters. The challenge theme is Change of Season/Weather.

I made a card with a Dutch Doobadoo template and got to play with Bubbles Ice Skating. I colored this cute little girl with Promarkers and added glitter to her wings and gesso to the fury bits. The snowflakes are from Noor Design and the Ice Skate is from a template I found through Google. The glider from the skate is made with aluminum tape that I adhered on the cardstock. I used my crop-a-dile to set some white eyelets and brands and laced it up with crochet cotton. Like how it turned out.

SSD September Release Blog Hop

Welcome to Sassy Studio Designs September release/hop. Hope you enjoy it so far.

You arrived at the first stop. It's always exciting to start the hop. Hope you like my card. I sure loved making it.

I got to play with Monster Sassy Draculara. Isn't she gorgeous. Love the new images. I colored her with Promarkers and made an locker easel card. I love pink and black combo so this little character was the right one for me.

Masculine Card

Hey!

Happy Weekend to you all.
Today I made a masculine card with sketch #80 from i {heart} sketches with the optional twist handmade embellishment. Always nice to have some for upcoming birthdays or celebrations for a man.

I used a FTHS digi called Necktie Banner and colored it with Promarkers. I used some masculine background cardstock and made a necktie with brown grosgrain ribbon. I adhered a metal corner to the card and left the sentiment out because I wait until I know for what occasion the card will be used ;-).

Candy Cane the Sassy Elf

Hey!

Oh my time flies. It's already the last Thursday of September. So welcome to our new DTBST Challenge "Metalology". This time I made a Christmas card.

I colored Candy Cane the Sassy Elf with Promarkers and added some rhinestones where the little bells would be. The Christmas tree is a template from Dutch Doobadoo. My metal part is a Christmas tree charm. I also added a tree border, little flower, bows and a Magnolia sentiment.

Tansy Plumray

Hey!

It's raining outside. Fall is making his entry. So what better to do than making a card.

I made this one with a lovely image from Lacy Sunshine. It's called Tansy Plumray. Like the little wings on her back. I colored Tansy with Promarkers, added glitter, pearls, butterflies, distress ink, a sentiment and used a butterfly embossing folder.

Fussy Cut

Hey!

Welcome to a new week and that means a whole new challenge at Love to Create.
This weeks sponsor is StampArt by Kathryne and our Challenge is "Fussy Cut Something".

I got to play with this lovely image called Allanah. I colored her with Promarkers and added some glitter and for snow I used gesso. I fussy cut the image and oh boy that was a lot of work. I die cutted a circle and made some clouds to stick it behind the image, die cutted leaves, tiny circles for holy berrie and added 3 die cut snowflakes and adhered a flatback pearl in the center.

Bewitchin' Birdbrains

Hey!

Here's my take on this weeks sketch from i {heart} sketches.

I used a cute FTHS image called Bewitchin' Birdbrains. I colored it with Promarkers added a pumpkin ribbon and made my own sentiment that says "I'm gonna cast a spell on you tonight" to go with this cute image and added a witch charm.

All Wrapped Up

Hey!

Today starts a new DTBST Challenge at Sassy Studio Designs. I made this card using the theme "It's a Banner Day".

I colored a digital SSD image "All Wrapped Up" with Promarkers. Used vintage background papers that I distressed around the edges. Underneath the image I added a die cutted page from a book and I distressed those edges too. The banner is die cutted form a pizza box. You  know I love to recycle. On the ribbon it says Happy Birthday, but sadly it doesn't show on the photo. To finish the card I adhered a metal corner.
