Rodeo Queen Rory

Hey!

Today is the launch of a new group called Heather Valentin's Coloring Without Boundaries. It's a fun coloring community for all ages.

I got to play with Lacy Sunshine's Rodeo Queen Rory and she is colored with Promarkers. The image is from the All about Rory Coloring Set #14. Normally I don't color whole scenes as I like to fussy cut my images. This was challenging for me. I like how it turned out. Still learning to color as I never have followed a class in coloring. I notice do the difference of coloring a few years back and now. Still in progress but that's so much fun. It's like a big adventure.

My Fair Lady

Hey!

Today is a new Flashback Friday at Sassy Studio Designs featuring My Fair Lady. She will be a freebie on the SSD Facebook Fan Page voor 24 hours only.

I colored this beauty using a fineliner for all the small black parts and the rest of the image is colored with cool grey (for the white parts), black, ice grey 5 & 3, pinks, browns and skin tones.
Had decided to make a tag. They always come in handy. The tag is made from black leather look cardstock. Used products; white gelpen, white vinyl lace, black and white tape, filmstrip die cut, crocheted flower, gem, made a little pin, and white feathers. I love how it turned out.

The First Kiss

Here's a card I made with one of the new release digi's from Stamps by Julia Spiri. The new release is called "Love is in the Air Collection"

The image is called "The First Kiss" and it's colored with Promarkers. I used white and red cardstock, a doily edge punch, a hearts border die, big heart die and heart punches, double sided dp.

Harvest Medley

Hey!

Today I made this card using sketch #136 from i {heart} sketches.

The From the Heart Stamps image is called "Harvest Medley" and it's colored with Promarkers.  I used some scrap pieces of dp's and distressed the edges. The image is distressed with walnut stain distress ink. The leaves die cuts are from joy crafts.

Surprised Birdbrain

Hey!

Today I made this card using my favorite character called Birdbrain from FTHS. Love that chick.
I used sketch #135 from i {heart} sketches with a twist (add some nature)

The image is called "Surprised Birdbrain" and it's colored with Promarkers. I used some dp that is pretty old, but never ever used it and 2 strips of scrap paper. Like how it turned out. Didn't add a sentiment because this image can be used for more than one occasion.

Snowman Hugs

Hey!

Finally winter is coming. Well for this week we will have below 0°C. So I had to make a card with snowmen. I used sketch #134 from i {heart} sketches with a twist and an image from FTHS.

The image is called "Snowman Hugs" and it's colored with Spectrum Noir Markers. Behind the image I adhered 3 strips of scrap paper with dots and stripes for the twist. Also the scarfs work for the twist of the challenge.

Valentine LOVE Banner

 Hey!

We're half way the month already and that means a new challenge at CCC Digi Creations. Our sponsor this fortnight is Cute as a Button. The challenge is themed "Use Die Cuts"

I got to play with this cute image called "Valentine LOVE Banner" and I colored her with Promarkers. I didn't use this image for a Valentine's card but for an upcoming birthday from my younger sister who I love dearly. The background papers I used are designed by Tracy Wray and it's from the With Love pack.
I used 3 die cuts (Happy Birtday banner, Hearts banner and the flying heart) the 3 little hearts are made with punches.

The Secrets of Venice

Happy to announce that I am part of the New Release Team at Stamps by Julia Spiri as of this month. So excited to be able to work with her gorgeous images.

Here's my first card using one of the 6 new images from the "Venice Collection".
This image is called "The secrets of Venice" and she is colored with Promarkers. I seem to turn to this color combo more often. I got a new paper block and saw the feathers and had to use it. Also just bought some feathers so that came in handy too. The fan behind the image is made with a half circle out of a piece of scrap paper.

Cozy Kittens

 Hey!

Today I made this card using sketch #33 from i {heart} sketches and the Free Stamp of the Month January by From the Heart Stamps.

This cute image is called "Cozy Kittens" and I colored it with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. First time I used them. Love how the color. Maybe even better than my Promarkers. I think I will combine my markers and use them both as alcohol markers can be combined. I used a lovely paw print embossing folder (Crafts Too). I love this folder. I inked it with Versa Color (38 Sky Blue).

80s New Wave Punk Girl

Today starts a new fortnight challenge at CCC Digi Creations and it's themed Anything Goes. Our first sponsor this year is Lemon Shortbread.

I got to play with this beauty called "80s New Wave Punk Girl" and I colored her with Promarkers. The card base is red linen cardstock. I found this awesome background paper somewhere on the internet and had to use it. I reused a piece of corrugated paper from a package of cookies and added some lace an a strip of scrap cardstock.
