Sad

Hey!

It's a very sad day for us. This morning (5:00 am) we got a phonecall from my husbands brother telling us that their father just past away.

Pfffff... Don't know what to do. It's still early. Hubby is on his way to his father (it's an hour drive). I couldn't go with him because our son has to go to school. I have to tell my little guy that his grandfather is dead. Don't know how he's going to react to the news.

CDAC Progressive Challenge

Hey!

I made this card for CDACPC #16. I used one of the 5 free images you get for the challenge. I used a lovely image from The Wax Fruit Company. I love the close up. I colorde only the stems and the oulines from the flower with glitter gelpen. Love the shine. I made a square card from white linen cardstock and folded (mountainfold) the front in half. This way the card stands on its own. To make the image pop I adhered it to a piece of black linen cardstock.

Quick Card

Hey!!

I had to make a card very fast and didn't know what to make.
Love butterflies and the receipient too, so I decided to use a background stamp from Hero Arts.
The big butterfly was stamped again and colored in with glitter gelpens. Love how it pops.

Happy Birthday

Hey!

I made this birthdaycard for a magnolia birthday list I participate on. Wanted to use a stamp of Edwin. Most times you see Tilda, but Edwin is also very cute ;-)

Love white-on-white and embossed a mat and punched some butterflies and a doily. Also used some flowerbling, a birthday sentiment and some glossy accents on the red heart.

Oval Easelcard

Hey!

Today I made this easelcard using some dies to create this form. Was the first time I did this and like doing it, so more to come.

Cardbase is soft yellow linen cardstock, top layer went in an embossingfolder with cupcakes through the cuttlebug. Distressed the edges with some wallnut stain distress ink. Coloured the image with my soft colors promarkers, printed a sentiment, puched some butterflies, used pink pearlbead chains and polkadot satin ribbon. Like the way it turned out.

Easter Card

Hey!

Not feeling well. Supertired, no energy left and feel like a zombie. Hate my fibromalgia but have to find my way. It's just been over 1 years since I know I've got this illness. As soon as I have posted this card I'm going to rest for the rest of the evening.

Before you know it it's eastern so I had to make a card to get some positive energie. Hmm... well I didn't get any energy but my card is finished. Easter Butterfly Easelcard

Hey!

Today I made this Easter Butterfly Easelcard. Love how it turned out.
I used an older image from Magnolia of Tilda with a little lamb.
I made this butterfly myself, so no prefab. Lot of drawing en cutting.

The card is made using white linen cardstock. The top butterfly went through the cuttlebug in a flower embossingfolder. I distressed the whole embossed butterfly and the edges with milled lavender distress ink. In the middle I adhered some mint green satin ribbon and white lace on top of that. In the middle of 3 embossed flowers are some rhinestones. Also I used some punched retro flowers, little butterflies and a easter sentiment.
