SSD Release Hop to Celebrate 6 years

I got to play with this gorgeous image called "VIRGO". Don't you just love her. Our Sassy Brother Greg made an awesome background paper to go with the image. Love the hot pink. I created this card in photoshop and printed it on my dcp paper for coloring the image with Promarkers. Like how it turned out. The edges are die cuts from Joy Crafts and to those and the wing I added pink glitter glue.

Hello my friend!

Hey!

Here's a new card with a lovely new FTHS image called "Prickles Says Hello". I used sketch #112.

The Free Stamp of the Month image is colored with Promarkers and I printed a digital background by Michele R Designs from the "Basic Vintage Pack". My friend is written with a green glitter gel pen and I threaded some embroidery floss through the flower button.

Nurse Heather

Hey!

Today starts a brand new DTBST challenge at the SSD Blog. It's a Tic Tac Toe (pick 3 in a row) challenge and I love those. My Tic Tac Toe items are Die Cut (band aid), Circles (background), Glimmer & Shine (red parts on the nurse).

I wanted to make a get well soon card so I have chosen "Nurse Heather" and colored her with Promarkers and on top of the red parts I added red glitter gelpen. Of coarse I had to give her an earring. The cardbase is made out of white linen cardstock. The circles background I found on the internet. Love this pattern. On top of that I adhered a square out of red linen cardstock. I drew some faux stitching with a white gelpen. The band aid is a Quickutz die cut (QRS0325). The corners are rounded with a 1/2" Zutter Round it All punch.

Baseball & Apple Pie

Hey!

Here's a card for the new challenge at Lacy Sunshine. It's themed "Baseball & Apple Pie".
This one was pretty hard for me as we don't know this in our country. But this gorgeous image inspired me to make this easel card. Feel free to join our Fortnight challenge so you get the chance to win some Lacy Sunshine images.

The image is called "Cider Apple" and she's colored with Promarkers. Base card is made from white linen cardstock. It's made into an easel card. The big apple pie is a cutting file from Miss Kate Cuttables. After adding the Apple Pie to the folded part I cut it to the shape of the pie. Like how it turned out.

I got to play with Eleanor/Pickles Loves Books. I decided to split them up and make 2 bookmarks. The images are colored with Promarkers. This image had it's debut in on June 1st 2013.
The bookmark with Eleanor is just a long piece of cardstock folded in half and I adhered washi tape on the front of it. The Pickles bookmark is an origami folded bookmark. I have watched a tutorial on YouTube on how to do it. You can watch it HERE.

Ella at the Ball

It's Thursday and that means a new DTBST challenge at Sassy Studio Designs. This week is a theme everyone can play "Your Hearts Desire/Anything Goes".

I made this card using Ella at the Ball and colored her with Promarkers. Just found out a new gorgeous color combo, so I will be using that more often. It had to be a card with butterflies. I have used Michele R Designs digital papers from the Butterfly Garden pack.

Other items used: mini butterfly punch, Joy birdcage die 6003/0034, Joy butterfly die 6003/0033, Joy Happy Birthday edge die 6002/0296, Joy butterfly edge die 6002/0251, Butterfly die 6003/0023, flatback pearls, pink stamen, hot pink lace and a heart brad.

Get Well...

Hey!

Here's my card for the new challenge at CCC Digi Creations. The challenge is called "Digi/Not Quite Straight". Our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps.

I got to play with this cute fella. I love this dragon. It is called "Clyde Get Well" I colored him with Promarkers. The card is made with a template from a Dutch brand. The cardstock is also from a Dutch brand. I adhered gauze under the image and made a bow from a piece of gauze. I used a red fine liner to make faux stitches along the edges of the base card. The little doctors bag I made myself en the little sentiment is Dutch for Get Well Soon.

Hi,

Here's a new Magnolia card I made, but this time it's a CAS (Clean And Simple) card.

I have choosen the image Follow Me Tilda from the World Wide Web Collection 2015 and colored it with Promarkers. I made a frame with the word Liefs (Love) in Photoshop  and it goes wel with this image I think. It may come in handy. It's always good to have some CAS cards in stock to send out to someone who needs a little pick me up.

Just Fold It

SSD - All Wrapped Up

Hey!

It's Thursday and that means a new DTBST Challenge at Sassy Studio Designs. This week it's all about folds so "Fold It Up".

I created this card using this gorgeous image called "All Wrapped Up" She is colored with Promarkers. As the bows made me think of butterflies I had to use them on my card. The background paper is from the Digital Basic Vintage set by Michelle Designs. The butterly edge is a die cut, the letters on the little stairs are letter stickers and they spells hooray in Dutch (hoera).

Dots & Stripes

Hey!

The first of the month I received this gorgeous freebie from The East Wind and I decided to make this card with it with Dots & Stripes.

The image reminds me of a big shirt I had in the eighties with just a part of a face on it. Right away I thought of this color combo, just like my big shirt. Wish I had a photo of it to show you. The mouth and eye are colored with Promarkers.  I have cut strips of red and black linen cardstock to create the stripes and the dots are punched with a 3/8" circle punch. On the black parts I added faux white stitching.

Welcome to my blog. There's a new challenge this fortnight at Lacy Sunshine and it's themed "Wild About You".

Here's my card. I got to play with this darling digi called "Agaric Mushroom Enchantress" isn't she pretty? I colored her with Promarkers. You can find all colors on the recipe card. I added some flat back pearls to the mushroom and 2 metal corners. The card is made with white linen cardstock as the base card an I printed some gorgeous digi papers "Crinkle paper dk royal blue" (biggest piece) and "Wild About You Blue" and matted those on red linen cardstock.

Beach Party Invitation

I made a beach party invitation. This Simply Sassy Swimsuit image went perfect with the gorgeous invitation I found on the internet. I placed the png image on top of the invite and printed it standard photo size on special paper (Clairefontaine DCP Papier A4 190 g/m²). The image is colored with Promarkers.
