Hey!

Today I made this card for my mother.
It's my fathers birthday and sadley he passed away 31-10-2007. I miss him dearly.
Every year I make a card for my mother and visit her on the day he died and his birthday.

Duo Challenge #12

Hey!

Vandaag heb ik een verplichte rustdag. Heb erge last van m'n linkerarm en heb vanaf vorige week donderdag al teveel gedaan. Mooi de tijd om aan duo challenge #12 te beginnen voor annette's creafarm duo challenge blog. Iedere maand kun je je inschrijven voor de challenge en krijg je het patroon opgestuurd en heb je een maand de tijd om de opdracht in te leveren. Als je je opgeeft verplicht je je wel om deel te nemen, omdat je anders uitgesloten wordt voor volgende challenges.

Voor de maand december kregen we een leuk patroon van een kaart in de vorm van een huis. Ik heb er een sneeuwrandje uit de losse pols geknipt en op de bovenkant van de schoorsteen en langs de dakrand geplakt. Verder heb ik een winters patroonkarton gebruikt voor de voorkant en een lief afdrukje van tilda van de laatste nieuwe serie van magnolia.

It's a white on white... again

Hey!

Last night I made this white on white card. I used a lovely image from Sassy Cheryl.
You can purchase it in her shop. I colored it with some promarkers and some stickles. I embossed the background with a dotted embossingfolder. Under the image I adhered a piece of gauze compress, some felt snowflakes and a dutch sentiment. Think i'm gonna adhere some silver gems in the center of the snowflake to finish it. If I do so I'll post a new photo in this message ;-)

Red, Black & Cream

Hey!

Today I made this cream linen card with tilda on ice skates. This image is a special edition from Paper & Pictures. I made a embossed cream linen background and a die cut from marianne design that I embossed with a snowflakes embossingfolder. I adhered some red felt snowflakes with a rhinestone in the center.

Hey,

Still have to make some christmas cards. Love white on white with the magnolia stamps and only use some color for the skin & hair.
Guess I'm gonna make some more of these kind of cards. Want to send out my last christmas cards this weekend. So, gotta go and make some ;-)

Christmas Card

Hey!

I made another all white christmas card with the lovely tilda from magnolia stamps.
I used white linen cardstock for the base and the embossed background.
On each side of the mat I used a different christmas embossing folder.
Love the little colored pearls and a red star gem on top of the christmas tree.
On the garland I used some red gltter stickles and the shine is just beautiful.

Get Well (Beterschap)

Hey!

Today I made this card for my stephson who's recovering from surgery.
The image is from Just Some Lines and it's called Baxter Helps.
I used an embossingfolder to make the pawprints and som distress ink to
distress the edge. The sentiment is in dutch and means get well.

This card is made for CDACPC8. It's a progressive challenge.

Kerstkaart

Hey,

Weer een magnolia kerstkaartje gemaakt. Wat een mooie serie is het toch weer. Erg leuk om in te kleuren. Heb mijn promarkers gebruikt voor het inkleuren. Achtergrond gebruik gemaakt van een embossingfolder, de randen bewerkt met distress inkt en tevens de dennebomen met inkt bewerkt. De tekst is een gratis digistempel van Nicole Verkooijen.

I also used her freebie dutch christmas sentiment.
