Layout Donnevan & Brandon

Hey!

Tonight I made this layout of my two dear nephews who died in a fire on 5th january 2008. Donnevan (Dolcy) was 5 yrs old and Brandon was 4 yrs old.

I miss those boys so very much. It feels like it was yesterday the fire happened. It was a big mediahype over here. It was all over the news and in the newspapers.

I want to jounal something about the boys, but I cann't do it now. It's to hard for me at the moment.

Vanavond heb ik deze layout gemaakt van mijn neefjes Donnevan (Dolcy) en Brandon, die op 5 januari 2008 zijn omgekomen bij een schuurbrand. Het was iedere dag op tv o.a. in hart van nederland.

Het is net of het gisteren is gebeurd. Het is nog zo vers.

Ik wil nog een journaling erbij doen, maar dat lukt me nu niet. Het is nog ff te moeilijk om wat te schrijven.

Layout Kippensoep

I've made this layout of my son who loves chickensoup and he wants to cook. This time I guided him in making fresh chickensoup. This had to be a scrappage ;-)

Ik heb een layout gemaakt van Duncan die kippensoep maakt. Hij wil zo graag leren koken, dus dit keer heb ik hem onder begeleiding kippensoep laten maken en uiteraard moest er een scrappagina van gemaakt worden ;-)

We hebben nieuwe stoelen voor bij de eethoek.
Dit past toch beter dan de vorige.

Layout Kung Fu Panda

It has been a while since I made a layout. It was great to scrap again.
Today I made this one of our visit to the cinema.
The embellishment is a cut out of a happy meal box.

De embellishment heb ik uitgeknipt uit een Happy Meal doosje.

Sold - Verkocht

This evening we sold our diningroom chairs.
Since we redecorated our livingroom the blue chairs don't fit anymore.
Saturday we will be shopping for new {black} chairs.

Vanavond hebben we onze eetkamerstoelen verkocht.
Het blauw past toch niet meer in ons interieur.
We gaan zaterdag op zoek naar nieuwe (zwarte) stoelen.

Wanted to show this project with Post-it notes I made for my mom for Mother's Day.

She loved it.

doffe ellende

En dat in letterlijke zin. Mijn mooie rode polo is gewoon rose. Ben nu aan het snuffelen op forums om mijn rode mooie kleur terug te krijgen.

Hopelijk is de kleur weer te krijgen, want het schijnt met de juiste produkten en de juiste manier van wassen en poetsen toch te moeten kunnen.

Happy Birthday Card

Hi There!!

After making the challengecard I was so inspired that I made this card for my sister in-law.

Used most of the product I used with the Color Inspired Challenge. Accept now I stamped a Butterfy and gave in transparant antlers with a bead at the end and I used brown patterned paper, a sanding block and instead of my fastenator I used ordinairy white staples.

Color Inspiration Challenge #50

Hi Everybody,

This time I am entering a Color Inspiration Challenge from Kristina Werner for the 1st time. She is one of my favorite cardmakers on Youtube.

Now I can enter because I don't have to use Stampin' Up colors. (I simply don't have anything from SU) I am very very very happy I can enter by just using the colors she picked for this challenge (Brown, Red, Yellow, Turquoise & White).

This is her inspiration photo.


Here's the card I made with the required colors.




I made a RED card, cut off a strip and made a border with a corner rounder. Attached a strip of TURQUOISE cardstock and stamped on a border with Stazon Timber BROWN.

I used a friendship stamp and stamped it with Stazon Timber BROWN ink on a piece of WHITE cardstock and matted it on a piece of TURQUOISE cardstock. I attached this with foamtape on the RED strip that I had cut off the card before and placed that on a piece of YELLOW wire mesh and attached it on the card with my fastenator using a YELLOW staple.

Then I took a wooden butterfly that I colored with Stazon Timber BROWN ink, made some faux stitching with a WHITE gelpen and attached it on the RED card with some foamtape.

I enjoyed making this card and entering this challenge. The colors were great to work with.
