Floral cupcake

 

Hi Crafty Friends!

Today starts a new challenge over at Passion for Markers. This weeks theme is "Anything Floral" and our fabulous sponsor is "SheepSki Designs".

I got to play with this beautiful image called "Cake #173", coloured it with Promarkers and fussy cut it. To create this card I used the following items; white cardbase, glitter white paper, pattern papers, walnut stain distress ink, happy (birth) half circle border die, doily edge punch, birthday edge die, stitched circle die and blue gems.

Suzette's Cupcake Party

 

Hey!

First of all I'd like to wish you all a Happy New Year. Hope 2021 will be a better and safer year for the whole world!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Digi Doodle Studios Challenge Blog. It's themed Anything Goes.

I got to play with this fun image called "Suzette's Cupcake Party" and colored her with Promarkers. After seeing this image I decided to create a Cupcake card. I cut a piece of patterned cardstock and scored it every centimeter and folded it accordion style. Then I cut it to the right shape and adhered it to the top of a folded piece of white sturdy cardstock, so it can stand by itself. I have cut some wavy shapes (freehand) out of pink cardstock and have added distress ink to the edges before adding it behind the cupcake base. Added some red gems as sprinkles and a birthday sentiment to finish it.
