Happy Birthday Card

Hi There!!

After making the challengecard I was so inspired that I made this card for my sister in-law.

Used most of the product I used with the Color Inspired Challenge. Accept now I stamped a Butterfy and gave in transparant antlers with a bead at the end and I used brown patterned paper, a sanding block and instead of my fastenator I used ordinairy white staples.

Color Inspiration Challenge #50

Hi Everybody,

This time I am entering a Color Inspiration Challenge from Kristina Werner for the 1st time. She is one of my favorite cardmakers on Youtube.

Now I can enter because I don't have to use Stampin' Up colors. (I simply don't have anything from SU) I am very very very happy I can enter by just using the colors she picked for this challenge (Brown, Red, Yellow, Turquoise & White).

This is her inspiration photo.


Here's the card I made with the required colors.




I made a RED card, cut off a strip and made a border with a corner rounder. Attached a strip of TURQUOISE cardstock and stamped on a border with Stazon Timber BROWN.

I used a friendship stamp and stamped it with Stazon Timber BROWN ink on a piece of WHITE cardstock and matted it on a piece of TURQUOISE cardstock. I attached this with foamtape on the RED strip that I had cut off the card before and placed that on a piece of YELLOW wire mesh and attached it on the card with my fastenator using a YELLOW staple.

Then I took a wooden butterfly that I colored with Stazon Timber BROWN ink, made some faux stitching with a WHITE gelpen and attached it on the RED card with some foamtape.

I enjoyed making this card and entering this challenge. The colors were great to work with.

Een Opkikker

Goodevening,

Tonight I made this simple card for my father in-law.
He had to move to a special home after a stay of 3 months in the hospital.
He's not well and I wanted to cheer him up a little with "Een Opkikker". (medical: lift). Kikker means Frog in dutch. ;-)

The card had to be simple, otherwise he could panic. I've chosen sunny colours and hope for a little smile on his face.

I found a nice size box on a market and altered it.

Took a card (13x13cm) with a pearly sheen, cardstock, designerpaper, some bling, a butterflystamp, a whiff of joy stamp and sentiment.

Mojo Monday #81

Hi There,

It's the 1st time I'm entering a contest on a blog.
I found a great sketch blog and I simply love the sketch for this week.

I liked the way my card turned out. I didn't use any well known brands.
I used a card with a pearly sheen, some designpaper, stamps, cardstock, ribbon and a little bling.

Diagnose adhd

Vandaag hebben we Ritalin gekregen voor Duncan. Voorafgaand heeft Duncan een paar middagen testen gehad en hebben Rich en ik gesprekken gehad bij "De Praktijk"

Hij heeft adhd (ongecontroleerde). Dit weekend gaan we beginnen met de medicijnen. Hij moet 2x daags een pilletje van 5mg slikken. Heb ook een recept voor 10mg gekregen voor het geval dat de 5mg niet voldoende werkt.

Woensdag 22 april moeten we weer terug om te kijken hoe het gaat met de medicatie. Wel goed dat Duncan onder controle blijft, dat geeft een gerust gevoel.
